What is Fraxel®?

Fraxel® is a non-invasive, microscopic laser penetrating your skin to encourage new collagen and elastin growth. It uses two wavelengths to address various age-related concerns on your neck, chest, arms, hands, and legs.

When will I see results?

Results are immediate and progressive, with optimal improvement visible in two to three months. This time frame allows for healing and the production of new collagen.

How long is each treatment?

The treatment itself takes about 20 to 25 minutes. However, you should expect to take another 60 minutes for the topical numbing cream to take effect before starting.

How many treatments will I need?

On average, an effective treatment regimen is three to five sessions spaced about two to four weeks apart.

How long does it take for the skin to heal after a Fraxel® treatment?

The downtime after a Fraxel® treatment is typically a week. During the first two days, you can expect redness and swelling (like a sunburn). Then, during the next three to five days, your skin will start to peel. It’s important not to pick or peel your skin. You should skip all hair removal methods in the treatment area.
