IPL Photofacial

Do you love being sunkissed? Time in the sun can adversely affect your skin, resulting in sunspots. A quick light therapy treatment with immediate results and nearly nonexistent downtime, the IPL (Intense Pulse Light) photofacial is a great way to achieve even-toned, line-free skin while shrinking pores and reducing scarring.

How does this service help me?

Reduce sun damage
The IPL photofacial is a noninvasive cosmetic treatment that uses cutting-edge technology to target the deep tissues under the skin and prompt the body to produce more collagen. This process slows down with prolonged sun exposure and age. It can eliminate sunspots, broken capillaries, and acne scars that can detract from a person’s true beauty.
Treat redness and rosacea
IPL photo facials can also effectively reduce redness and flushing associated with rosacea by targeting the blood vessels responsible for these symptoms.
Improve skin texture and tone
IPL photo facials can help improve skin texture and tone by stimulating collagen production, leading to smoother, more even-toned skin.

Key questions answered

What is an IPL Photofacial?

An IPL photofacial is a light-based treatment that creates a reaction deep beneath the surface of your skin to stimulate new collagen growth, resulting in a more youthful appearance. The light heats and destroys undesired pigmented spots on the face, neck, chest, arms, hands, and shoulders.

When will I see results?

Most clients see a significant improvement in their skin in two to three weeks following the treatment, with the skin gradually improving over time. The final result may take several months to achieve. You can look forward to smoother, brighter, and even-toned skin.

What areas can be treated with an IPL Photofacial?

We can treat any part of the body. However, the best treatment areas are the face, neck, chest, and arms.

What does an IPL Photofacial feel like?

Because we provide a medical-grade numbing cream, there is no pain during an IPL Photofacial. Some patients report feeling the sensation of a sunburn in the area being treated for a few hours to a few days after the treatment.

Is there downtime after an IPL Photofacial treatment?

Most people can return to work and their normal activities within 24 to 48 hours of the treatment. Some experience mild side effects, like temporary swelling, redness, crusting, bruising, or superficial blisters. These subside within a day or two after the procedure. Keep in mind that excessive sun exposure will affect the results of the procedure. Always wear sunscreen to protect your skin.
