What are Botox®, Dysport®, and Xeomin®?
All three products work the same way. They are neuromodulators that soften targeted facial, neck, or body muscles. Temporarily relaxing these muscles reduces and smooths expression lines and wrinkles and prevents the deepening of wrinkles from muscle movement.
What is the difference between Botox®, Dysport®, and Xeomin®?
The main difference between Botox®, Dysport®, and Xeomin® is that Xeomin® contains just one ingredient: botulinum toxin A. Botox® and Dysport® are encased in proteins. At the same time, Xeomin® is a “naked injectable,” meaning it does not contain additives. The manufacturing process and the number of days for results to take effect are slightly different in all three.

When will I see the results?
You will notice a visible smoothing of fine lines within 24 to 48 hours with Botox. Most patients see the effects of Dysport® two to three days after the treatment. Complete results of both Botox® and Dysport® are typically seen in two to three weeks. The effects of Xeomin® are seen within five days, and take up to 10 days for full results to be evident.
